Happy CNY!

Is it too late to make a new year's resolution? i hope not. But i'm going to make one anyways.

Have you made your new year's resolution yet? I think it's a good idea to make one so that you know which direction of your life you're heading to, you know what i mean? it works for me. ahahah.. at least a few. But first, let's review my last year's resolution ;)

Lilian's Goals for 2009

1) Super good grades in Uni(regardless of where i'm going) --- erm.. i'm not so sure if i've achieved this

2) Be on TIME -- Failed MISERABLY!

3) Exercise Regime (Urgent!! I need one) --- Failed also

maybe yoga/swimming/gym

4) Control temper (yea, i have a bad temper, mind you) --- I would give myself a 7/10 :):)

5) Earn cash --- Nope, didn't earn any

6) Run for President for student council/club/activities --- President, who am i kidding?

7) Join committees ---Yippee doodle!! I was Events Organiser for Monash Business Club ;)

8) Do charity --- :) I did.

9) READ, READ, READ (at least 20 books this year) --- i would say i read alot! Now i can't live without books!

PS. NOT textbooks

10) Sing on stage --- phew, been there, done that :D

5/10 resolution achieved for last year. Not bad at all!

For 2010, this is it:

Lilian's Goals for 2010

1) HDs or Ds for all my uni units

2) BE ON TIME (I'm serious this time!)

3) Exercise at least twice per week

4) Learn how to cook & bake

5) Read at least 30 books 

6) Achieve something (i don't know what yet)

7) Study consistently

Somehow i lost my mojo. Like i can't find things that i really want to do this year. Oh well, we'll see how things go :)

How was your Chinese New Year so far? 

Mine? It was great. Traditionally, people celebrate chinese new year with visitings to relatives' houses, open houses, exchanging of angpaos, having family dinners and catching up with relatives. But Chinese New Year to me is the time where my family goes for a overseas trip. This year, the country is Turkey, babe!

If you asked me how was it, I cannot manage to tell you how awesome it is with words. I LOVED every bit of it. 

I haven't transferred the pictures to my computer yet. But i promise, once i do, i'll share with you! Just a teaser: Balloons, Troy, Roman Empire. :)
